I really like the Black and White squares as well, they would be extra cool if they were painted and could wear a little. It would be interesting to know what the countertops are, they look like wood but wood is so impractical as a wet surface countertop that I'm convinced it must be something else.
The fridge is cool, but we'd probably need more space with an entire family eating out of it, or work a second fridge and freezer in a pantry.

Ooh, I forgot about painting the squares. Especially if the floor was from refurbished wide planks, so they had a bit of groove on the edges.
We should give Drew Barrymore a call about the wood countertops- this is her kitchen.
